| No joining necessary.......... The is not an organization. It is a forum to keep 4 wheelers in Ventura County United and going out and 4 wheeling without anykind of politics. We are here to have fun. | |

| I hope I am working by then. I have not wheeled Calico yet, except for in my '69 El Camino for the Desert Party in the 90's. 24hr live music for the dead heads to keep them busy while they were up all night on LScrazy. Cubensis was really hot, and the dancing glow tube skeletons on the hill top had a lot of people with necks up, mouths open, and a duh look on their faces. Too bad digital cameras weren't around then.
It really sucks not having the money for gas to go wheeling. I have to ride shotgun with Kenny just to get out to the desert for some wheeling.
I'll post the pics of Ken's '66 Bronco stuck in the 3' deep mud hole on the last day Nightmare Gulch was open. No one had been through for ten days since the rain except two dirt bikes. When he got home, he had to pull things apart to clean out the mud. Drums were packed solid inside (brake springs and all). Also the axle housings were packed up.

| Well, I started a new job full time in Valencia. Good pay and benefits. I work in document control as a drafter and the backlog is keeping everyone working mandatory overtime. 40 hrs regular, plus 10 hrs of OT during the week, and another 8 hrs on Saturday. This may go on for a couple weeks until we get caught up. I am not sure if I will be able to go at this time. If I can, I surely will attend. I can't wait to see my checks come in. This Friday's check is only one week, and goes to the mortgage pmt. What's left is for gas to commute (100 mi/day). | |

| Jason Rose here.
Count me in. I will bring the Jeep for sure. Not sure of the quads yet. I haven't figured out a way to bring all the toys with the Jeep yet.
I was in Calico a couple weeks ago. Big fun!
See you there, Waxman | |

| This is Chris Silveira,
Turns out I may be able to get over to Calico, but only for Saturday the 12th. Probably get there between eight and nine in the morning. Was there with Jason about a month ago, had a blast.

| I am leaving Ventura between 4:30am and 5:00am on Saturday morning. I am bringing a friend of mine out with me. Should get there sometime around eight or so. Probably stop at Peggy Sues for breakfast and meet up with everyone in the canyon after that. So say 8:30 - 9:00am at the latest. Should be a great time. Hopefully there is not as much traffic on the trail as last time I was there. Will be towing my Jeep up as well. See everyone out there.

| 1. CHRIS, CAN I RIDE OUT AND BACK WITH YOU FROM VENTURA. I could use a ride there and back if you have room. (Foster Park off 33) I will chip in for gas/beer.
2. I NEED A TRUCK TO RIDE SHOTGUN IN. I am willing to spot and move rocks. I will chip in for gas/beer.
I have been working 58 hour weeks for over a month at my new job. I don't think my truck is ready at the moment. Carb/distributer issues. We'll see.
